The concept of inheritance

The CH23 was introduced in 1950 by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner, known as the “Master of the Chair”. This chair was one of the first dining chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son.
The chair is not complicated at first glance, but it incorporates many delicate details. It has a clean frame silhouette, an elegant cross-shaped cap, a unique hand-woven seat and a well-stabilized rear arch leg. The young Hans J. Wegner’s insightful approach to design and unique craftsmanship are on display.
The designer’s quest for practical comfort is his first choice, which is why his furniture has lasted for so long, even after being discontinued and then re-produced.
