Description
The round table is always a symbol of togetherness.
28mm thick
The stability of a dining table is very much linked to the thickness of the table top. With a 28mm thick table top, the material used is much thicker than the 20mm thickness commonly found on the market, greatly increasing the table’s load-bearing strength and eliminating the need to worry about sturdiness. The table top can weigh up to 13.8kg.(100cm version)
It is our instinct to tend to the good.
The best sources of cherry wood are in Pennsylvania, the best known of which are Gutchess and Emporium. gutchess sub-divides the highest FAS grade cherry wood in the NHLA specification into 6 grades, and to ensure patchwork and imperfections
The cherry we have chosen is the Gutchess brand grade F&BP.
F&BP > F&B > S&B > SELN > 6SEL > P1 > P2 > P3
Large plate straight splicing
High-grade timber is selected and the large plate straight splicing process is used to control the number of spliced panels to less than 10, with the colour and grain selected by experienced masters and then spliced. Although there are two additional processes, this ensures aesthetics and reduces cracking to a large extent.
Low centre of gravity and guaranteed stability.
A round table that buckles when pressed is very unsafe. Sometimes older members of the family may use their hands to press down on the table when they get up, and children sometimes like to lie down on the table, so if the table is unstable it can easily tip over, spilling the food and risking injury.
Good stability
The stability of the table depends on where the centre of gravity is. The table is divided into two parts from the middle, if the top is light and the bottom heavy it is stable, otherwise it can easily be knocked over. Our round edges are made of solid iron, 10mm thick and weighing up to 17kg (100cm version), and are solid and stable, not easy to shake or tip over.
Round edges
The edges are polished to a rounded arc, which not only makes it comfortable to lean on, but also reduces the risk of bumps and bruises.
Greater desktop utilization
A round table can seat 2-3 more people than a square table, and no matter where you sit, it doesn’t look cramped or awkward, which is a great feature of a round table. We have 1.0m and 1.2m diameters to suit different space and use requirements.
More freedom of legroom
Generally we need at least 40cm of legroom to sit comfortably when seated. Crossing our legs requires 50cm, and sometimes our reclined seating position requires even more space. Our round tables are designed with one leg and have plenty of space underneath.
The chairs are placed more freely
The chairs are placed more freely than the wide base or four-legged versions available on the market. The legs are placed more freely and the chairs can be positioned freely. The chairs can be positioned freely without any crossbacks or obstructions.
The chairs are placed more freely
The round tables have a very distinctive character in the space, with their unique shape, standing on their own, without being bulky or dull, and their undulating lines, which add visual lightness and a sense of transparency to the space.
